80% of the food you eat everyday should be healthy.
That 80% should be made up of:
- Lean Protein
- Whole wheat bread and other sources of good fiber
- Good carbs
And that 20% is your choice. However, the healthier you make this 20% (i.e. choosing dark chocolate with almonds over Snickers bars) the healthier you will be!

Had the other half of my Cafe Rio burrito, no chips and salsa/queso on the side this time so I am going to estimate - 400 calories.
Apples and peanut butter - 180 calories.
Green tea - 0 calories
turkey rolled up around provolone cheese and mustard - 170 calories.
cucumbers in a little Italian dressing - 30 calories
Total - 1015 calories
I will try and resist the temptation of munching at work. Maybe I should take some fruit? But I should let myself have some frozen yogurt to get my calorie count up there. I will update if I eat anything else. I’ve been stuck at 145 since Monday, hopefully I can push through this!
